After the production and processing of stainless steel plates is completed, the acceptance steps are indispensable. Usually there are corresponding quality standards for acceptance. This quality standard includes two types of product common standards and special standards. First check whether the common standards meet the requirements, and then check whether the special standards meet the standards on the basis of their compliance.

First of all, let’s talk about common standards, mainly including universal mechanical properties and mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, etc. In addition, stainless steel plates have a natural and beautiful appearance, so these common performance standards are a prerequisite for qualified products.
In special standards, in addition to the customized performance of the stainless steel structure to cope with different corrosive environments, the type of surface processing is also an important aspect of inspection.
At present, there are roughly five types of processing that can be used on the surface of stainless steel plates, and they can be used in combination to process more surface-processed finished products.
The five types of surface processing are rolling surface processing, mechanical surface processing, chemical surface processing, textured surface processing and color surface processing. For these surface finishes, follow the steps below.
The first is to determine the type of surface processing required with the manufacturer before processing. It is best to have a sample as a reference standard when starting mass production.
Secondly, when it is used in a large area, it is best to use the same batch of base coils or coils.
If the product is applied to architectural decoration, such as the interior of an elevator, although there are fingerprints on the surface that can be wiped off, it is not beautiful. You can choose to use a cloth texture surface at this time, so that it will not be obvious. So it is best not to use mirror stainless steel in these places.
In addition, when choosing surface processing, it is also necessary to consider whether the manufacturing process is feasible. For example, to remove welding beads, the weld may be ground, and then the original surface processing must be restored. And checkered plate can not meet this requirement.
Some surface processing, grinding or polishing lines are directional, that is, unidirectional. At this time, if vertical lines are used instead of horizontal lines, dirt will not easily adhere to the surface of the stainless steel plate, and it is also easy to clean. This advantage needs to be considered when choosing.
Finally, regardless of the type of finishing used, additional processing steps are added, which increases the overall processing cost, so the surface finish should be selected carefully. At the same time, designers and users also need to have a certain understanding of the advantages and disadvantages of various surfaces, and communicate in time, so as to obtain the expected surface effect.
