checkered steel plate, also known as reticulated steel plate, is a steel plate with convex (or concave) pattern on the surface.The pattern on its surface can be a single diamond shape, lentil shape or round bean shape, or two or more patterns can be properly combined to form a combined pattern plate.The pattern is mainly used for anti-skid and decoration.The combined pattern board has better anti-skid ability, bending resistance, metal saving and appearance than the single pattern board.

According to different substrate materials, checkered steel plate products can be divided into four series:
Carbon structural steel: GB/T 700 medium grades such as Q195, Q215, Q235, etc.;
low-alloy high-strength steel: GB/T 1591 in the number such as Q345;
structural steel for hull: GB 712 A, B, D, E and other steel grades;
High weathering structural steel: The grades in GB/T 4171 are Q295GNH, Q235NH, etc.
Note: If the grade of the checkered steel plate is "H-", the chemical composition will be the corresponding standard for the substrate. For example, the chemical composition of H-Q235B is the same as that of Q235B. If it is a brand without H, the detailed regulations need to refer to the corresponding standard.
Application of checkered steel plate
1.The common pattern board is widely used in shipbuilding, boiler, automobile, tractor, train carriage and construction industry.
2.The steel plates with protruding edges on the surface are used for floors, factory escalators, working frame pedals, ship decks and automobile floors.
3.The steel plate with diamond or lentil pattern on the surface is used for the pedals of workshops, large equipment or ship aisles and stairs.
Basic thickness of checkered steel plate
The specification of checkered steel plate is expressed by basic thickness (excluding the thickness of protruding edge), and there are 10 specifications of 2.5-8 mm.No.1-3 steel plate is used for pattern plate.
The welding seam on the upper surface of the pattern plate should be polished smooth before anti-corrosion operation.In order to prevent weld fracture or arch deformation of steel plate caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction of plate, 2mm expansion joint shall be reserved at the splicing of each steel plate.The lower part of the steel plate shall be provided with a rain hole with a diameter of 10 mm and a distance of 1 m.
