But sometimes we will find some problems when using Wuxi 316 stainless steel angle steel, such as billet grinding, slipway scratches, furnace bottom rolling pits, etc. The appearance of these problems will greatly reduce the performance of 316 stainless steel angle steel, then we How to avoid it?

1. Billet grinding. The 316 stainless steel angle steel billet is ground with a coarse grinding wheel, and wear marks will appear on the surface of the plate during rolling, especially for thick plates above 20mm.

2. The slideway is scratched. In the heating furnace, the slideway is easily scratched on the lower surface of the blank when the billet is in the slideway movement.

3. Rolling pits. During centering, the middle splint rubs against the edge of the middle plate, causing edge burrs to splash onto the surface of the middle plate, forming surface rolling pits.

4. The large chain is scratched. The falling off between the chains causes the steel plate to move out of synchronization on the cooling bed, resulting in scratches on the lower surface.

5. Furnace bottom rolling pit. The furnace bottom roller is subjected to multiple actions such as high temperature gas and load, which is prone to surface nodules, resulting in pressure pits on the lower surface of the middle plate.

6. The straightening machine presses the pit. The straightened carbon steel leaves oxide scale, and it is easy to form pressure pits on the surface of the middle plate during the straightening process.

7. Lifting scratches. It is easy to cause edge rib damage when lifting the steel plate, and the surface of the steel plate is scratched due to the irregular operation during unloading.
