How to Care and Maintain Stainless Steel Plates

Date:2022-12-19View:388Tags:
When the stainless steel plate is used or maintained improperly, floating rust or yellow spots will appear on the surface of the product. Therefore, the following precautions should be understood when using stainless steel plates:
       1. When using stainless steel plates, if there are welding shavings, cement, oil stains, white ash, putty, sand ash, etc. attached to the surface of the product, it should be cleaned in time, otherwise it will cause rust or mildew after a certain period of time.
       2. Due to the difference in water quality in different regions, or if the water quality containing iron elements discharged from the galvanized pipe is left on the surface of stainless steel products for a long time, there will be water stains, and it will easily cause floating rust if it is not cleaned in time.
       3. Mineral materials or acid and alkaline dust in the newly renovated house fall on the surface of the product. If it is not cleaned in time, it will easily cause floating rust if it encounters moisture.
       4. If items such as pig iron are in contact with the surface of stainless steel for a long time, it will also cause floating rust, mildew or discoloration.
       5. When chemicals, detergents, paints, sauces, oil stains, pesticides and other chemicals remain on the surface of stainless steel products for a long time, it is easy to cause mildew or rust.

       6. When processing and installing stainless steel products, extra care should be taken to prevent the stainless steel surface from being scratched by sharp edges.

After installing and using the stainless steel plate, please wipe off the dirt and water stains on the surface of the stainless steel plate with a cotton cloth dipped in clean water.
In the process of using or caring for the product, please do not scratch the surface of the product with wire balls or hard materials. If you encounter floating rust or yellow spots caused by external erosion, you can use a damp cotton cloth dipped in old-fashioned toothpaste to clean it. Then use cotton cloth dipped in transformer oil or sewing machine oil to apply on the surface of the product to create a protective layer to prevent secondary erosion.
